May I have this dance?
I'd like to introduce you to Sophie (or "sofa" as her mom sometimes calls her). Sophie is the first dog that Dashell ever met at our dog park. She is a golden retriever and the sweetest dog in the world. Just look at those golden retriever eyes. Lorette is Sophie's mom and dashell LOVES Lorette. He can be on the other side of the park and if he hears Lorette's voice he'll run to her. You must think that there is a special bond between Dashell and Lorette and there is....
It's Mr. Ice Cream Cone..Dashell's favorite toy in the whole wide world, the only toy that he will play with. Lorette introduced Dashell to Mr. Cone, she created our monster! This is Dashell at the park with Mr. Cone.
We saw Lorette the other day at the park and she was telling us about this woman who dances with her dog. She sent us this youtube clip and I had to share it with all you dog lovers (even if you are not a dog lover..gasp!...you still have to check it out). Lorette said that she swears that the dog was leading at one point. If nothing else it will bring a smile to your face.

I have seen this woman on TV. Odd duck. But, as long as she and the dogs are having fun.
Dashell is dashingly handsome. He is coming to France. No?

Okay, that was the highlight of my morning. Tail wagging the entire time, such an obvious desire to please! I do love my canines! Oh and a handsome pair Sophie and Dashell must make, heartbreakers the two of them.

LBR - she does seem like an odd duck, but looks like her dog is having a blast. Dashell is handsome, although most people call him a pretty boy. Yes, he's coming to France and so is Stella...we are taking the Queen Mary II from NYC to England with them on-board. Quite an adventure it will be!
K - that's the one thing I noticed, the dogs tail wagged all the time towards the end you could see him barking. Canines are the BEST! Oh, Dashell and Sophie are not girlfriend and boyfriend. When Dashell is at the park with Mr. Cone he doesn't want anything to do with other dogs, just us, Mr. Cone and Lorette when she's there.

Ahhhh the cone! Dashell's obsession! Too darn cute.
If you REALLY want to laugh, imagine me and Hector trying the Canine Freestyle. We took a class just for fun... and let's just say it was NOT a pretty sight!
