Here we go...

OK - everyone is telling me that blogging is the thing to do.  I really didn't know much about it until I started researching ways to market my pottery business.  Oh my, there are so many blogs out there.  I was a bit overwhelmed (and still am), but here I go.  I figured I'd make my blog about my pottery business The Juicy Pear, my life with 4 dogs (yes, 4), my travels, my love of cooking, my "other" business (which pays the mortgage and most of the bills) and my love of cycling.  I should say right now that "my" in my life isn't just me...it includes the love of my life - Bruce.  I should say "we" because we do everything together, seriously.  We work together, we own a children's art studio called Art-Works Studio where we teach the fundamentals of drawing & painting to children ages 5-17.  Actually Bruce teaches all the classes, he's a fantastic painter/artist and great with kids.  I'm his assistant during classes and also handle the daily running of the business.  We travel together (we are excellent travel companions....if you want to test your relationship, go on vacation to a foreign country), we cycle together (we bike about 110-140 miles per week), we nap together (yes, nap...everyday and it's so nice!), you name it, we do it together.  We have been together for 11 years and still love doing everything together, it works and it's wonderful.  But since I'm the one writing this, figured I'd use "my".

I probably won't be a daily blogger...don't think I have that much to say, we'll see if that changes.  But I hope you check back often to see what's up in my Juicy Life.
